I am Shubham Somwanshi, a passionate software developer based in Pune, India, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the College of Engineering, Pune. I have a strong technical foundation in programming languages like Python, C, C++, and Java, and web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React and Angular. My professional journey began at Societe Generale, where I honed my skills in database management, cloud server optimization, and application architecture.

I also have hands-on experience in software development from my time at COEP and as an intern at Dosii, working on diverse projects like job portals, HTTP servers, and data management systems. My achievements include participating in national-level competitions and earning the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification. I am proficient in English, Hindi, and Marathi, and have a keen interest in leading and organizing technical and social events.

    2023 — Present

    Owned the responsibility for maintaining, operating, and refreshing databases, managing database load, contributing to the architecture design and schema development of applications like trade booking, optimizing performance, and scheduling patches and alerts for database updates and security.

    Gained foundational corporate experience and knowledge of financial terminology, and experience in managing and optimizing cloud servers and databases for scalable, high-performance applications.

  2. [Internship] Dosii, Pune

    2022 — 2023

    Worked on a project titled Dosii web app that aimed at creating a SaaS solution for actionable data management in different collegiate admissions.

    Implemented multiple app components using Flutter and Firebase, which included making company pages, Adding filters to dashboards, creating profile forms, etc

    As a Project Manager of the club, my responsibilities include managing the projects, and teams and organizing events with the help of a core team.

    Contributed to the development of BHAU’s Startup Repository, and Election Portal, which facilitated the online election process in COEP.

    Developed and maintained the website for the technical festival MindSpark.
